SD and Upset Prevention and Recovery Training Overview
The comprehensive Spatial Disorientation Instructor Training Program includes both academic instruction and hands-on training of Spatial Disorientation. Since Spatial Disorientation and loss of Situational Awareness account for over half of the major aircraft mishaps each year, these courses substantially improve flying safety.
Spatial Disorientation for Helicopter Pilots
(1 Day Program)
This course provides specific information for Helicopter Pilots and Crew with regards to Definition, Information Processing, Perception, Illusions, Visual, Vestibular, Prevention, Management of helicopter related spatial disorientation illusions. This course includes Academic training and flights in a Spatial Disorientation Simulator.
Spatial Disorientation for Fixed Wing Pilots
(1 Day Program)
This course provides specific information for fast jet and fixed wing pilots and aircrew with regards to Definition, Information Processing, Perception, Illusions, Visual, Vestibular, Prevention, Management of aircraft related spatial disorientation illusions. This course includes Academic training and flights in a Spatial Disorientation Simulator.
