The NASTAR Center offers certified flight physicians, experienced staff, subject matter experts (SMEs), pilots, test subjects, and in-house engineering and fabrication services to support your research. Our commercial space and aviation research capabilities enable rapid response to meet your needs. We can record up to twelve physiological parameters—captured in real time with synchronized video and audio—during commercial spaceflight, fast jet operations, or exposures to rapid acceleration, deceleration, spatial disorientation, high altitude, and decompression.

Our research-oriented atmosphere provides researchers flexible and cost-effective access to unique motion devices and realistic test environments for a multitude of study areas. The NASTAR Center has flight data from SpaceX and Virgin Galactic to accurately replicate specific flight conditions. Specific space, aviation, and other flight parameters can be accurately reproduced.
Two of the NASTAR Center training and research devices have received FAA Approval – STS-400 High Performance Human Centrifuge; received FAA Safety Approval SA 10-001 and the 12/4 High Altitude Chamber, received FAA Safety Approval SA 12-004.
The NASTAR Center has very unique capabilities of providing tri-axial vibration simultaneously with specific G load profiles. We are the only Research Facility in the USA capable of providing this service.
