The NASTAR Center's Night Vision and Night Vision Goggle Training provides specialized training in both unaided and aided night vision to optimize aircrew readiness and performance in night operations.
Modern warfare requires that both ground and air forces conduct night missions as a strategic function of warfare. Effective militaries must continue to train for and maintain an around-the-clock, all weather, operational capability with great emphasis on night operations. However, training forces to function effectively at night using unaided and image-intensifying devices is a concern of the operational and aeromedical communities. Your ground and air forces should receive initial NV training with proficiency testing and attend annual refresher training. The NASTAR Center's NVT and NVGT courses prepare your forces for this operational challenge.
